Deliveries

  • We aim for all orders to be delivered within 3 working days, occasionally it can be up to 5 days depending on Bank Holidays, Postal Strikes etc.  If you require your order urgently i.e. the next day, please telephone your order through to discuss the various postal options and costs involved.

  • Orders placed late on a Friday or over the weekend, will be processed and despatched on the following Monday (except Bank Holidays).

  • We do not currently open on bank and public holidays. Orders received on these days will be despatched the next working day.

  • If you have requested to have your order delivered to a Business Address, please ensure that there is someone there to recieve the package.

  • If you have an urgent  or special delivery request, please call us and we will make special arraangemet to make sure you get the product when you want it.


International deliveries

We WILL delivery overseas at the best price possible.  Prices are obtained from our local Post Office and are mainly sent by Parcel Force with tracking and insurance.  If you would like your parcel sent overseas, please telephone or email us about international deliveries so that these may be costed separately.

Postage method

We aim to deliver all items (which are in stock) within 36 hours. We aim to hold more than 95% of items in stock. For larger items we use Hermes for deliveries and it may be that in some situations they have a delay in delivery. To date, they have been relaible and on time. 

Small products ordered from Cathyfrith.com are normally sent via First Class,  Registered or Recorded post.  The type of delivery method will often depend on it's urgency, value and weight.

Orders of a value less than £25.00 will be charged a standard postage of £3.50.  Over £25.00 will recieve free UK delivery.

Missed deliveries

If you are not in to receive the delivery at the time the delivery is attempted, the delivery company will leave you a card to notify you of the missed delivery attempt.  This will allow you to either telephone them to arrange a redelivery at a more convenient time or collect it from your local sorting office. 
 
If for any reason the item is returned to us (e.g. incorrect address specified, item not called for), then we will inform you immediately by email or telephone as soon as we receive the item.  You will be given a choice whether you wish us to re-despatch the item or for you to cancel the order.

Late deliveries or despatch

We can almost always send out orders within the specified delivery timescale, however, in rare circumstances our workload can be stretched which causes delays of one/two extra days. This is always regretful and is thankfully uncommon, but in this situatin your parcel will be marked for urgent delivery the next day.
